2. Our Role in HIPAA Compliance

MD Integrations is the HIPAA Covered Entity responsible for your clinical care and for issuing the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. Contingency Medical acts as a Business Associate under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with MD Integrations.

As a Business Associate, we:

  • Receive PHI only as needed to facilitate physician review and pharmacy fulfillment

  • Use and disclose PHI only as permitted by our BAA and HIPAA

  • Maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect PHI

  • Never sell or use PHI for marketing without HIPAA-compliant authorization

  • Payment information

B. Protected Health Information (PHI)

PHI is collected through intake questionnaires and secure clinical systems operated by MD Integrations.

PHI may include:

We receive only the PHI necessary to process your order and coordinate with pharmacy partners.
